All buttoned up

Little by little, stores are filling up with the new SS '13 collections. With this blog post, I'd like to zoom in on a trend that's still dominating the collections, the buttoned up shirt. I still am a big fan of this micro-trend. Whenever I'm in doubt about what to wear, a patterned shirt or blouse sure saves the day. Wear it all tucked in and buttoned up for a preppy kind of look or, if you're more a casual cool kind of girl, wear it unbuttoned with a cool t-shirt underneath .
For me the big problem, especially during winter, is wearing a shirt or blouse underneath a sweater. I don't like the feeling and the shirt never stays in place. In my search for a solution to avoid this uncomfortable feeling, I stumbled upon this sleeveless and bodyless collar. Quite clever invention if you asl me. You can wear it underneath a round or v-neck sweater and even underneath a dress to create that cool, nerdy look.
